Remus is our handsome 6 year old boy. We adopted him 4 years ago from a local Humane Society, where they tagged him as a doberman/coonhound. Our vet thinks he may be a doberman/lab. He weighs about 70 pounds and has a tall and slender build. Remus has many interests including: hunting furry creatures in our yard, protecting our property, napping, outrunning dogs at the dog park, and learning new tricks or commands. He always has energy when we want to go for a run or walk, but seems content to curl up in a circle on one of his beds, our couch, our bed or in the hallway whenever we are otherwise occupied. Remus is not overly friendly with strangers, but loves his immediate and extended families. He is very gentle with smaller dogs and children, encourages similar sized dogs to play and can be confrontational with larger dogs. On a friendlier note he greets us at the door with a stuffed toy in his mouth and takes every opportunity for a belly rub. He also is very vocal when he wants something (dinner, outside) and makes a howly "woo-woo" sound. |

Lucky is a 20 month old Black Lab Mix, He was a sick and abused puppy and was rescued by my neighbor at 8 weeks, and because she didn't know what to do with him, I took him and promised her I would take him to the local shelter...but of course once those beautiful and sad brown eyes made contact with mine, I WAS DONE :) ..he melted my heart!!! Now he's a big, happy dog! With tons of love and a great home! I am currently looking to find out exatly WHAT other breed he is mixed with! Curiosity is killing me :) |

My husband and I adopted Jazzy last March when she was 5 months old. She is a total joy. She is very intelligent and trainable. She is beautiful with black eyeling, lips and nose. She has a wonderful coat with beautiful markings. Her only problem has been seperation anxiety but she is improving on this. She's just the perfect dog and everybody loves Jazzy. |

I got this perfect puppy at the pound about three months ago and we can not figure out what she is!! The pound said german shepard/shar pei but we don't think that is right at all. We are almost certain there is some doberman but she has alot of extra skin under her mouth and around her face. Her legs go on forever and her ears are huge. Shes around 6 months and weighs 32 lbs.She is super hyper, but extremely loving and a little clutzy :) Any advice would be much appreciated! |

Roxie is an almost 5 year old female dog we adopted from a pound in Idaho. I believe that I was told she was a lab mixed with either rot or doberman but I can't recall. I believe she looks like a lab doberman mix but I want to see what you think. She weighs probably 60 pounds give or take. She is 23 inches tall. She is a very sweet dog. Pretty mellow (unless she is excited to see you and she calms down after a few minutes) doesn't bark EVER unless she wants in the house. She usually whines when she does talk. She came to us when she was already 4 and trained. She is very well behaved for the most part. Very smart. Loves EVERYONE. Seems to get along with most dogs and loves cats. We have small children and she is great with them. |

We adopted Shiloh from a local shelter in March '09. She is around 10 months old and weighs about 50lbs now. They described her as being a "rottie mix" but didn't have any info on her mom or dad. The vet that we currently use disagrees with this assessment and believes that she has German Shepherd in her based on her coat which has a lighter color underneath the black. I think she is probably a doberman mix. |

I've had her for about two months now. She was found by a farmer in his chicken-coup, and the vet thinks she's mostly whippet. I was hoping you guys could tell me what else she might be (particularly the underlying spots). She's about a year old, 19" at the shoulder, and 36lbs. She is very friendly with people and loves to play with other dogs. |

Adopted Tia about 6-7 months ago. She's part Siberian Husky part something else. Wondering what you guys thought that other part was. Very loving dog--affectionate to people and other dogs. She loves chasing small animals (squirrels, in particular). Very free-spirited.
When I adopted her the adoption clinic told me she had been with them for a while. Tia was pregnant with 8 pups when they found her and had been living on her own in the wild for some time. She is extremely intelligent and apparently can survive on her own. I think that's the Husky in her. |

Adopted from pound, was a stray. ID'd her as a Terrier Mix. She has these Border Terrier traits, fur texture on back, ear shape, digger, escape artist and body matches that of a Border Terrier. I think she might be mixed with Schnauzer??? She is about a year old and weighs 21 lbs. |

Maia is a rescue that we just adopted. The organization guessed that she was a Rottweiler/Shepherd mix, but we are fairly certain this cannot be correct. She is tall, but only weighs 35lbs and we believe she is APPROX 10 months old. My best guess would be a Doberman mix with some sort of smaller breed, despite her long legs and skinny lower half. These are images of her, some with our Westie for comparison. |
