Abbey is 7 months old now. She weighs over 60 lbs. we got her from an animal rescue place. they told us she was a labrador mix. she is all black with a small white spot on her neck/chest.Abbey is very fast, and likes to jump and leap onto and over things.my dog trainer at puppy school thought she would be a great agility dog. i have 3 teenagers and she is great with them when they are playing , but she is not much of a "cuddler" at all. Abbey is very active , smart and agressive. she is a DIGGER.she has dug deep holes in our yard and likes to "dig" under couch cushions and under chairs. she loves to play . we have had full bred labs in the past, and her personality is definitely different. she has pointed ears that stand straight up when we go for walks and she chases birds and squirrels. sometimes her ears flop down.Abbey has short shiny black hair and does not shed at all. her tail curves up toward her back. she is a very good watchdog and when she barks, there is always a "howl" at the end of it. many people think she has shepherd,greyhound or doberman in her because of her "pointed " face and ears .. we are curious to know what the consensus is here from members on this website! we love her.. she is a wonderful puppy! p.s. the first pic is about 3 month old, the second and third pics are 5 months old and the 4th picture is how abbey looks NOW. Abbey is LAB mixed with????

We got Abby from the Humane Society and have no idea what breed(s) she is. She likes to herd so I am guessing some sort of shepherd. She is very friendly and affectionate with all people and dogs. Just my little sweetie pie. |

This is our sweet Abby. We rescued her and have no information on her mixed breeds at 7 months of age. She is now 15 months old and weighs approx. 13 lbs. Her main color on her coat is deep chocolate (it looks black most of the times until she gets in the sun, then she's dark chocolate) and has tan markings on face and legs (the tan on her legs looks like knee socks), and then she has a white chest and white feet with very little tan on them. She stands about 13" high and she is very slender. She has long legs and the hair on her body is very smooth and silky looking and as for her legs, the hair is real short and coarser. She does not shed much, nor do we have to get her coat trimmed. She is very energetic and when she runs in the backyard, she "springs" when she runs. |

Abby is a 2.5-year-old Lab mix. We were told she was part Basenji but I don't see it. She came into our rescue because of behavior issues. She is also deaf. Abby knows some sign langue, the basic commands. She has had 9 weeks of schooling. She is very loving with people. Loves to play fetch. She is food aggressive with other dogs, not people. She would be best suitable for a household where she is the only pet and no young children. Teenagers would be fine. She is house trained. Abby is looking for her forever home. |

medium size black and white with very long hair. Her tail and leg hair is extra long and she has very thick fur with an under coat of heavy downy gray. Her tail curves up and she has soft brown eyes and ears that are close to her head. She has dew claws but she's not a water lover! She eats with her front teeth and her teeth in the middle of her mouth are quite small. She's also a herder; keeps you in your place till she can get her share of lovin' when you leave her home! |

Abby is 5 years old. I got her from the shelter, and they said she was the last of his litter, so I don't know what they looks like. She is very energetic, strong, muscular. I think she has pointer in her, because of the spots, but I cannot think of what else is in her. She has a curly tail (you can see it in the barking picture) that I don't know what breed she could have gotten that from. She is about 55 pounds. |

Hello! My name is Abraham. I was adopted from a shelter. I am going to be two on December 1st! I was told I was a collie mix. I am 40 pounds, and I have a partly black fluffy tail. I have hair in between my toes too. That's kind of embarrassing. I love chasing animals and can be a little aggressive when playing with or around other dogs. I am too smart for my own good. We adopted Acadia June, 2007. She loves to go hiking and swimming and just run around. She's a wonderful little girl who finally has the loving home she deserves :)
She's about 60 lbs fully grown, we've been told that she's beagle and german shepherd but no one really knows....whatever she is, we love her! |

Hi! I'm Ace. I am 10 months old. I am very hyper and love to play. I especially love kids and anyone who comes to my house. I sometimes hop around instead of running. I am very friendly, but sometimes too aggressive when I play. I have a nose that picks up every scent, which is very distracting. The pet store that I'm from says I'm a Jack Russell, Beagle mix, but I beg to differ. I think I would be smaller if I was a Jack-A-Bee?? I don't know. You tell me what you think? |

Alex is a Rhodesian Ridgeback cross with a tightly curled tail. He's slender for his height (only 55 lbs). The Humane Society said his other half was Husky, but we don't see that in him at all.

Angel is 11 years old. I got her from friends of mine when she was about 3 months old. She was my baby already when she was only 10 days old though. She is very loving and very protective. She shares me with three cats and one other dog. To those who have/will vote her as pure husky, she really is a mutt. I know for a fact because her mother was not a husky. No one has voted the other breed yet, and honestly, I doubt anyone will. |

Angie is a spayed female border collie mix. She is 3 years old (as of Dec 08) and only about 25 pounds. She likes to run and play with other dogs. She is very affectionate when she gets to know you. She is shy and needs a house with a fenced yard and is OK with cats and children as well as other dogs. She is good on a leash and is crate trained. Her daughter Belle is also up for adoption and is 1.5 yers and 28 pounds. |

Archie is 10 years old, with no clear lineages. He's active, for a 10 year old dog, and is well mannered. He has a deeper bark than you'd expect. He weighs about 32 lbs. I posted a picture before but he looks so different now I would like more of a opinon. He has lost his pomeranian look and looks more like a long hair chihuahua, My vet has no idea. He's 5 months old, very active, hardley barks, and seems to like water. |

I was lucky enough to get Athena from the Hollywood Animal Rescue. She and her mother were left abandaoned. Her mother was a 50lb lab. She's 3 months old and i'm not quiet sure what he is mixed with. Any help would be greatly appreciated. She has a white stripe down her belly and 4 small white boot like color on her paws. |

We rescued Athena from a shelter when she was 8 weeks old. the shelter said she was a malamute/hound mix. she is currently 1 year 10months and 105lbs. we have been asked several times if she has great dane in her because of her size and shape of her snout. |
